Malone Alone

Angelinos:

Malone Alone, the new CD, recorded live and solo, is an intimate affair, so we’ve decided to make the release party an intimate affair as well. So we’re having it at our favorite little joint in L.A. – Kulak’s Woodshed. If you’ve never been there, Kulak’s is a funky cozy little joint designed for the sole purpose of listening to acoustic music. If you get there early enough, you can camp out on the big queen-size bed in the corner of the room and watch the show from there. If you’re late, you’ll have to stand in the back with the pet birds, lizards and turtles… it’s that kind of place. Also, in honor of these hard economic times, the show is free. Copies of the new CD, however, are not free – so don’t hesitate to bring along your cash, checks and credit cards. In addition to the songs you know from the old records, I will wbe trying out a number of new songs with the band in the second set. Also, this is my last L.A. gig before I get married. Your last chance to see me before I become fully domesticated. Come to think of it, it’s also your last chance to see Karen Nash before she becomes fully domesticated! We’re going to Bora Bora on our honeymoon, and I’d say there’s an excellent chance that we’ll decide to forgo our stressed out lives here in the mouse-maze to stay there in the South Pacific and snorkel for the rest of our lives instead. We’d both rather swim with the sharks in the water there than swim with the sharks on the land here. So who knows, this could be our last L.A. gig ever. You wouldn’t want to miss that, would you?

Love, Bob
